Re: Tele

We started watching Meadowlands on Showtime last week. The first show was a bit confusing to start with but it looks like it's going to be a good series. Plus I think David Morrissey is a great actor.

I've gotten the first two episodes, just not had time to watch it yet....certainly was getting really weird by the end of last series, but there's bugger all else to watch, so giving it another go

Yes, but I think I must have missed a few episodes somewhere, I don't remember the main man trying to commit suicide. And its a bit obvious how it will eventually turn out with the flash forwards.

I didn't miss any episodes and was confused, they usually play the whole series again prior to the new one starting. I was hoping they would do it again so I could watch the last two episodes but some reason they didn't.

Errr....in the end, forgot about it and saw GN instead myself

Didn't have time over the weekend to catch up on the 4400 so going to have to get this third episode as well.

Did get Burned Notice, I think it's called, about a spook who gets the sack and has to deal with living in the real world, looked pretty funny, no idea if it's any good though.

But OTOH given the size of the truck that hit him he's lucky to be alive at all.

Poor Neela can't catch a break.

I was so sad, I love Ray (both of them! ;) :D ).

Yeah, poor Neela, I think she was a fool to go off with Tony in the first place, he's a complete arse! Ray's much nicer & oh so sweet!

Is it just me or is Tony not all that good looking??? He always looks like he needs a bath. Much prefer Ray and was very sad to see what happened to him.

I'd been watching it over here and my mum who was a few weeks behind in the UK watching it missed the last episode but she had made me promise not to tell her what was happening!!!! I made her beg .................... :p

Yeah, he does look dirty, plus he's a twat! Saw him on an Aussie talk show recently, he was acting nuts!

I've loved Ray ever since I saw him in that movie 'A walk to remember', it's a bit of a chick flick, but I really enjoyed it. I hope they don't write him out all together, but I fear that's what they've done. :(

I thought it was going to be rubbish, but I really enjoyed it, had a good cry too. Quite an original storyline really.

Well we've gotten a few episodes of Meadow Lands, just saw the first episode lastnight, a Brit drama thingy on showtime....very weird, but lots of faces you'll recognise, it seems to be about this family in a witness protection scheme, where the town is very surreal, kind of bizarre, and intriguing enough to want to see what happens next.

Eureka also started a few weeks back, and that's been pretty amusing to watch still.

Best thing on tv right now = Flight of the Conchords on HB0 (plenty of their comedy act live on youtube if you don't have HBO)

Best thing on tv this year will be the next season of the Wire when it comes back on, no doubt there at all.
