Just finished House of Cards. Load of rubbish, its really lost its way, I notice the main writer is different, I dont know if that is to blame. It had no spine this season. I see no point in continued viewing with season 4.

Spaceys character is just blunders and no planing like in previous seasons. His right hand man is way off to the side lines, but continues to stay loyal and active in a way that I find not believable. There is no repeat of the the UK season 3, that is for sure.

You don't really need to know about Breaking Bad, though if you have seen it, it'll act more as a Easter Egg for you, such as one of the drug enforcers working the parking booth in this and such.

Not sure it's something that will have legs mind, but should be good for a series or two.
It's probably deliberately cheesy as it's the wonderful world of Saul. This one is on my must-watch list, but I don't have cable and recently finished binge-watching Breaking Bad. BB gave me nightmares for a couple of days, so I'm not ready for the new show yet.

In the next few months I'll be moving to Albuquerque, the setting for both shows. Oh, yezzzz.

Downton Abbey just finished and I am missing it already. The seasons are too short.

Battle Creek, after a couple episodes, I'm not entirely sure I like it.

It's a bit slow, a little cheesy and the characters are a little wooden.

Might warm up though.

For the non cable crowd who love HBO and are ready to hang up the pirates hat.
HBO Now, HBO streaming service for $14.99/month, (in April)
HBO NOW. It's HBO. All you need is the Internet.

I do but this week's episode freaked me out.

I agree it is getting silly and more violent but I will persevere because I like Kevin Bacon.

I can not imagine it getting sillier, it started of ludicrous and continued in that manner. It is my great guilty pleasure. It has no redeeming qualities, that I can identify. It must have something to get me to watch, but I can not identify it.

Anyone been watching the return of Orphan Black?

I'm just catching up on it now...bit of a slow start in that first episode I thought.

Did anyone watch The Jinx (HBO)?

Best bit of telly in years, that.
I've never thought to call up my sister-in-law to discuss a show after it aired, but I did on that one.

Fox have cancelled The Following. The plot was getting more and more bizarre...but I liked the split personality twin.

They missed the boat. Would have done well if they had released it years ago...everyone that would have paid for the service now already uses a VPN or get the stuff by other means.
