Re: Tele

Somewhat disappointed in "The Big Bang Theory" - the writers must have suffered "burn out" after last season as this season opener didn't seem to be their best offering.

"The Mentalist" ended, IMO, on a really lame note - he didn't kill Red John after all - he's still out there. (Anything to keep the show going and not recognize it's run it's course). I really like Simon Baker (although I wish he'd wash his hair more often), but, I wish they'd find a different direction for him. My Brit is bored by the whole program, so there's no opinion from that corner.

"Person of Interest" has some potential - don't know yet. Haven't liked Jim Caviezel in other venues, but he may be more suited to this role, as I really liked his underdog-takes-the-prize scuffles. We'll give it another try & see where it goes.

I think Simon Baker is studly and I usually don't go for blondes!

Yeah, he's kinda cute - but, for studly, I'd go for Tim Roth ("Lie to Me") Wish they hadn't cancelled that program - although he was kind of spastic in spots, I enjoyed his sarcastic wit and wry humour. Besides, he is good-looking in a rough sort of way. I suspect it's cancellation was based on some of his co-stars, rather than him or the show's premise. I, for one, liked the idea of being able to watch someone closely to see their real inner workings. :sneaky:

I liked Charlies Angels. Easy no thinking tv for a Thursday.

I also thought Charlies Angels was better than the reports suggested.

CSI: Miami - What a load of bollocks. Does anymore really need to be said?

Not really - except that I can't stand David Caruso, even when he was on NYPD Blue.

CSI:Crime Scene Investigation is already improved just in the first episode with Ted Danson replacing Laurence Fishburn.

I saw "Person of Interest" the other day....I thought that was not too bad. Also watched "Unforgettable" but I lost interest in that, part way through.

"The Good Wife" started last night.....it was extremely good as per usual....I don't think they've made a bad episode of that show.

Ohhhhh, yes! I miss him too. Understand he left because he wanted to do other things and that he's happy doing stage work now. Wonder if he'll ever be back on TV? :)

He's in this. Don't know when it will be coming on.

Looks really interesting - but I didn't see anything about when it starts, either. Trace Atkins will be in it, too, I see. I think he's got a beautiful voice, both speaking and singing - and he's kinda good looking, too. I won't be surprised if it turns out he can act as well. :)

CSI has committed two very serious crimes. Firstly they shot a show based around Justin Beiber. Then they give Ted Danson the starring role. Sheer madness. I can't wait for next season when Danson is gone and they try Jim Belushi in the lead...

So what's wrong with Ted Danson? He's just dippy enough he can probably pass for a an eccentric chief what-ever-he-is. Not the greatest actor in the world, but then that program doesn't demand much in the way of acting anyway. ;)

If you're serious about Jim Belushi - I could see him in the role......in many roles, actually. He might give the program just that little bit of humour that it wouldn't really suffer from. :)

I will watch it most likely and I know it will make me sad.
