LOL I wasn't kissing up to her, she was off in Scotland and didn't get any. I was, however, kissing up to nice fiance.

That thing wasn't nearly as much trouble as the year I made the Christmas pudding - as my friend put it "oh nono, not me - I'm not having any part of any recipe that begins with "On day one...".

A wonderful South African meat product called, 'Biltong'. Unfortunately, anywhere that S.A.Airways flies into, the mutts are ready and waiting to sniff any out so that their masters can 'dispose of them' down their own gullets of course......

I was last in Newcastle at Christmas. I was upset to see the number of Starbucks next to the university, pandering to the southern students, and also a nasty Pret a Manger. The Londonisation of Newcastle is complete
I went to that university and I love Starbucks

Peter Hathaway Capstick called it a "He-Man" version of beef jerky.

I'm a big jerky fan, could eat it all day.

I think this counts as a no no too? I knew them cereal bars were dodgy..

A food chain is recalling packs of cereal bars after a customer found a rodent's body parts inside the product.
The customer bought the Minimum cranberry and apple bar at a branch of Netto in Norfolk, prompting the company to issue a recall of the product.

The shopper found the tail and body parts of what looked like a mouse inside the product, the Food Standards Agency said.

The complaint was reported to Breckland Council which has begun an inquiry.

No other Netto products were affected, the FSA said.

Netto's in-store notices said the reason for the recall was "foreign body contamination" and the store was offering a full refund for returned products.

A Food Standards Agency spokeswoman said the rodent parts had been "very visible" in the affected bar, making it unlikely that anyone would have eaten it by accident.
