So what stereotypes about Americans and America have you found to be true (and false)?

I think I might be the only person in the world who couldn't give less of a shit about Downton Abbey if I had my arse sewn closed. I don't understand the fascination with it out here

They stereo types they have about us are still going strong. I meet plenty of people in my job. I've lost count of the amount of Dick Van Dyke impressions I've heard now. I phoned up a talk radio station the other day as I was a little bored. As soon as I was off the air, cue the DVD impressions LOL.
