Even twenty years ago, if you paid $6,000 the boat must have been junk. .... Or your husband wasn't entirely honest about what he paid for it. :unsure: |

The boat was in great shape it was the motor that had seen better days. The 3 guys that had owned it used to do a lot of tournament fishing and they had bought a bigger boat. This had been sitting for about a year and they dropped the price. It ran great the first summer we owned it, then the problems started. We learned an expensive lesson. My ex was not honest about a lot of things but I know how much he paid for the boat. Why would you assume $6000 meant it was junk? Did you shop for a center console fishing boat in the early 90's.

The Connecticut river. The bottom half of the yard floods seasonally, but there is a considerable difference in elevation from there to the house so no possibility of it becoming a problem for us.
It looks great. Probably a real plus for your home value being on the river also. |
