Perhaps you don't realize, but Americans don't vote like sheep, and so the votes aren't usually much more than 60:40 either way in any one state.

TBF that's a bit harsh on the sheep as they didn't vote yet almost 63 million voted for your latest President and 56.2% voted for him in Montana while Hillary only pulled in 35.7%.
