No this isn't a type of vehicle that GM or Ford are building apparently there is a Change.org petition requesting the US Govt to sell the State of Montana to the Canadians for a trillion dollars to pay off some of the national debt.

If they want to give the US $22 Trillion, I don't see why not. $1 trillion is only 4.5% of the national debt

We might have a few caveats

The following States that border on Canada physically are Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

The following States are separated by water Wisconsin, Michigan and New York (easier to maintain a border).

The following States voted Democratic Washington, Minnesota, Vermont, New Hampshire & Maine.

The following voted Republican Alaska, Idaho, Montana and North Dakota.

Heres the deal. For those states that voted Republican we want the land only the US can keep the people. For those States that voted for the Democrats we will give them the choice of joining Canada along with the state land or they can remain in the US without their land.

Those States separated by the water we won't bid on them. BTW no throwing in South Dakota for free.

So a total of 9 States and you are willing to sell 1 State for 1 Trillion so how about we give you 10 trillion for the lot?

Beautiful place, and big! Takes all night to drive from the SW corner to the NE corner. A lot of First Nations people here consider the border a totally artificial construct anyway and would welcome it being dismantled. A few cultural and legal differences (the gas station selling beer and handguns side by side) to work out, but people in Saskatchewan might have more in common with those in Montana than we do with some from other provinces. There are some very fishy looking rivers in southern Montana, just saying.

Canada might be more interested in a warmer climate, maybe sell US Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico then Canadian's can have a warm domestic place to visit. Canada doesn't need more cold land.

Most likely, but for younger Canadian's and those without funds to live the snow bird life style one of the islands would be more ideal.

Or California then everyone I know would be Canadian..lol
