Shipping a box trailer UK to USA (Ottotheboar question most likely)
I'm looking at buying an enclosed (box as we call them) trailer for my hobby. However while chatting about this to my dad last night he said I can have his old 5x10 box trailer we used to use for karting as long as I pay the shipping cost. Now I believe RORO wouldn't be expensive (about $800). It's an option I'm strongly considering as the trailer is already tailor made for my needs but I've been unable to find much information of the process of importing a TRAILER into the US that isn't a camping trailer.
Is there a lot of hassle with licensing it that would make it not worthwhile?

Harvey
If you end up buying one check out Craigslist. I have had great success buying stuff on Craigslist and have sold several unneeded items also.
