That's about the only place they don't shit.

Eat them!! People shoot bloody Pheasant, I'm sure there's more meat on a Canada Goose!
(NB - pheasant, not peasant. the latter is no longer legal, like foxhunting. Although, we all know foxhunting continues undercover...........

Much more meat on a goose, but I'm not about to get into a fight with one.

It would be pretty low on my choice for dinner as the meat is bland and greasy. I had some once, and while I wouldn't starve if all that was available to eat was goose, I am not in any hurry to eat goose again.

Badly cooked then - can't speak for the Canada variety (although the fact they're called "flying roast beef" suggests something) - but Roast Goose was the Christmas dinner before Turkey was foisted on us and is delicious.... as for the roasties

Lots of noise, lots of hissing, lots of aggressive wing-flapping and the possibility of a nasty peck, but no more.

I find turkey is ok with a good gravy.
Generally though it's a perfectly functional protein.

I have an arrangement with geese. I leave them alone, and they crap all over our football pitches. It's rather lopsided but it keeps my face from having a beak in it.

I've never had it, but I've never had pheasant either for that matter. I do just fine with chicken and turkey anyway.

To be honest, I'm sure some turkey must be better than eating wet cardboard but I'd rather not try.
Bernard Matthews has a lot to answer for..........
