The bit about the US "being a corporation, not a country" is interesting though. I mean, aren't all countries corporations in terms of how they function? (No, I'm not a foil hatter, but I could make the argument in a few ways )

Why is a corporation even a trigger for them?

Especially since they probably buy a lot of their weapons and ammo from some of the largest corporations in the world, such as Walmart.

Wow. My mum's birthday.
I see they picked the 4th March because that was the date in 1933 when the inauguration was changed.
Double wow. My mum was actually born that year.

Uncanny.

So uncanny it must be true.

apart from all the scary stuff on there I was really happy to see more than a few of them come to their senses. Months and even years of being told the equivalent of ‘any minute now’ I guess made them realise they had been duped.

others, sadly, have either doubled down or are in disbelief. One post that comes to mind was a guy asking ‘what happened? They had them all in one place, fenced in and surrounded by the military, why didn’t they arrest them?’.

with their idols trump and Q silent, The troll Q more so since December, the ones deep into this nonsense decided a top level general must have cut a last minute deal.

was only on that forum for about half an hour and it was so exhausting. The anger, the paranoia, the detraction from reality, all blended in with god and Jesus etc.

i just really hope their movement is broken now and disappears for good.
I've got too much time on my hands at the moment (retirement+covid) and I've been avidly reading what I think is their primary message board (great awakening (dot) win - proceed with caution). I've also delved, briefly, into 4chan and 8kun - 8kun being where 'Q' actually posts these days. As an aside, 4chan and 8kun are absolute cesspits of truly gross porn, and I find it ironic that a supposed top level military intelligence operative would choose that vehicle for his outlet. I've been posting very carefully, but I strongly advise caution to anyone tempted to do that (protect your identity, ip address, etc; they are a vicious bunch - just watch how they go after Sandy Hook and other shooting victims/survivors).

I started viewing a few weeks after the election, before the inauguration. It has been fascinating to watch the goal-post moves over the past 2 months. They were universally convinced that those fences and the military presence at the Capitol was all part of a plan to retain all the bad guys and then stage military tribunals in full view of the world's cameras. Since that obviously didn't happen, many have given up but - as you say - many are doubling down. They are just allowing Biden to dig himself deeper into his hole right now (in their view), letting the military tribunals gather more evidence, so they can have military trials and then ship the 'cabal' (dem's, rep's, media execs, Hollywood types) off to Gitmo. Another variation on this is that they view all Biden's Executive Orders as being bad for the people, and therefore, they assume, the people will be more receptive to his overthrow after letting him rule for a short while (gas prices will rise, unemployment will rise, illegals will swarm in, etc etc). And as noted in this thread, March 4 seems to be the next 'big date' to head for - Trump will be inaugurated then. Will be fun to watch before/after on their forum!

I really can't get a sense of how big this movement is (before 11/3, before 1/6, after 1/20) but it's certainly still got legs. The rate of message arrival at the above site is amazing - you can't keep up with every post (a screen-full arrives every few minutes) and posts get hundreds of upvotes, in some cases, thousands. It's probably 1,000 times more active than BE. I'd love to see it die but I don't see much evidence of it happening.

everything the troll has predicted hasn’t happened. Hillary was supposed to have been slapped in cuffs and thrown in jail years ago according to the ‘Q drops’.

Then we have trump at the centre of it all, masterminding some 4D chess against the shadowy ‘they’. Yep ok then....

I think the guys who invented the Internet must be horrified. The idea of being able to access information at almost anytime anywhere, is being hijacked and replaced with misinformation and lies that some very gullible people are accepting as truth.

sorry bit of a rant but I think I’m losing faith in humanity.
In addition to conspiracy theories like Q / Q-anon, we also have the internet being used to destabilize governments and crush opposition in 'less developed' countries. Just last week I saw a 'Frontline' documentary on how the Philippine Government (currently led by a right-wing strongman 'Duterte') has used social media to attack the opposition (read about Rappler and Maria Ressa). The best documentary of all that I've seen on this topic in years was 'The Social Dilemma' on Netflix - highly recommended. Overall, I think something major has to change and I don't know how it can be brought about.

This, truly, has to be the biggest mystery of all! If there's one generalization you could make about the Qult, it is that they are low-education, lower-income types. How can that demographic somehow view a silver-spoon billionaire (who isn't even a self-made billionaire) as someone to look up to?! I've tried to suggest that he's not the perfect choice over in their forums but have been shot down in flames. He's brilliant, a 'Stable Genius', 'God Emperer of the United States (GEOTUS)', 4D chess player, etc etc. How they can't see that he's a lazy, selfish, womanizing narcissist is really a mystery! They despise other billionaires like Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, etc.

Edit To Add: they also view the 'Military' as a perfect, incorruptible force. They believe the military leadership will swoop in and arrest the bad guys, carry out military tribunals, and restore Donald Trump to power. I've tried to question why the military would not be every bit as corrupt as the rest of the swamp / cabal, but no one buys it - the military is 'perfect'.

I believe it simply gives them hope to believe the current government is not legitimate, and thus, can be overthrown by the military. A side-benefit seems to be, they can get out of paying traffic tickets or taxes since the government is not 'real'.

You're a braver person than I Gunga Din but I do find it fascinating to read what you have posted about this.
I shall have a cogitate.

On a far far lesser note we do have these oddballs here in NZ too. We know this place up in Collingwood. MrBEVS feels the bloke has spent too much time on the ganga.

But the cafe owner, who goes by the name of Nganga, said there is no virus in Golden Bay and he “doesn’t accept” the coronavirus is real.
“It’s all about getting the vaccine…and what goes into these unproven vaccines?... I’ve got a fair idea,” he told 1 News.“A micro chip is one little thing I wouldn’t want having. I'm after the truth not twisted stories.”
Google the bloke. Not aggressive or militant. A version of wacko beliefs , bit like churchy sky fairies types, but nevertheless dangerous to the health of a population with those views.

I truly hope this is the start of some meaningful change. It will damage FB but hopefully they can find new, less damaging, avenues ...

The danger is, squashing things on FB, Twatter, etc could simply push the wackos over to more marginal platforms.

You would have thought the Chinese would have mentioned it though, even if the US is being kept in the dark.

Classic (but relatively simple) example of how qultists engage in numerology and infer associations ...

On the right, we have two 'Q-drops'; then there's an association between the top-right q-drop timestamp and McEnnany's post (10:42). Then you associate McEnnany's post to Reagan, and then Pompeo's post at 9:46 correlates to the other q-drop numbered 946 ... . This 'proves' that people in the White House are secretly endorsing Q ...
They create these silly diagrams with arrows pointing every which way ...

Another example:

This one 'proves' that Hillary is under the control of Q, somehow (presumably, arrested and under house arrest). Some rando Q-cumber comment:
"Future proves past. Think of the planning years ago that allowed for this level of precision. The only way a Hilldogg tweet goes out with this time stamp connection to a perfectly related Q drop is if indeed, patriots are in control."
And
"Either Q owns a quantum computer that can predict the future, or has maintained an iron grip level of control over these corporations, swamp creatures and 3-letter agencies since 2017 to the point that Q could plan all the timestamps/proofs years in advance."

"Also, if you believe a certain ghost, the real Hillary is long gone, and the person on her account is an actor."

"Don't trust GhostEzra, but the lady at the inaug was much shorter than Hilary."

"Have mentioned before that killary got executed already, so who does control her twatter...."

"I read a thread a few months ago real Hellery hasn't been seen since post 2016...it's all been her doubles. ??"

It's endless fun over in qult-land!

Is this the right thread to express bewilderment on QANON? Have been dismissing it as election related nut-jobbery, but just saw a piece on CNN where young adults are "losing" their parents to this nonsense. Not unexpectedly, the duped also tend to have some hefty religious convictions. It really is bizarre that so many Americans can get roped into this cult. Will it end in 2021? I assumed it would, but lately, I'm beginning to think not.

I wrote a post a while back on how the American iteration of Christianity, based on Protestantism, has since its conception been a series of rebellions against, authority, Protestantism itself being the idea that an individual is the authority on the relationship with God, dumping the Pope, seems reasonable in itself, but American Protestantism has rebelled over and over against any authority, splintering itself in to thousands of shards (if you forgive the pun) . This cultural idea that authority is not to be considered as reliable, has spread, leading to the rejection in science, education, and the self as the only authority that matters. This doesnt quite explain why Q has become an authority.
This is what I wrote in 2017
It has taken me 12 years of living in America to fully realise just how unique Christianity in America is, and how tied to American culture it is.
Protestantism in America differs by a mile from the protestantism of the UK, I never really knew what Anglo-Catholic meant until I saw how far the Baptists are from the Church of England. (UK Methodists even are soft and cuddly compared to their US cousins). (Northern Ireland excluded)
American protestantism rejected the authority of Rome, and along with that came the questioning of all authority (England replaced one authority for another), this led to the continuing breaking apart of denominations as one after another had its authority brought in to question. It led to the birth of the idea of anti-intellectualism as authorities of all kinds became fair game for criticism.
The breaking away of the intermediaries between the individual and God that protestantism ushered in, brought the intense idea of individualism at the cost of community.
American culture, that of the individual free and independant against the central authority of Washington and government, is a direct result of the protestant revolution in Europe. Even gun rights can be traced to this idea, and the resistance to social safety nets from government.
