Recommended Airlines
We flew back from Toronto last week with Icelandair. Have to say I thought they were pretty damn good. The stewardess were more than helpful and all slightly older, which was nice to see. TV in back of all seats with 30 films to choose from. Food you had to pay for but we just had a slap up before we went on. Quick turn around at Reykjavik.
4.40 to Reykjavik and 2.40 to London.
Last minute booking for about 300 quid each.

I have used them from Halifax to UK and Europe several times. I would use them over Mapleflot (A/C) any time. They will allow stopovers in Iceland for up to a week too.
