"The Pub" - Louisville, Kentucky

I'll give this place a high rating.
I had Shepherds Pie, along with several pints of Old Speckled Hen and Fullers ESB.
Had traditional Curry and Chips tonight........almost blew my head off.
Well worth a visit;

Glad you enjoyed yourself!
My poke at Dubuque was only really in jest. I was there for business for just one night back in November so didn't really get much of a look at the place.

Talking of good British Pubs, we just tried this place...

Well worth a trip if you are in the Myrtle Beach, SC area. John the owner is a nice guy as are the rest of the staff. He says he's going to be getting Walkers crisps behind the bar soon as well as Galaxy chocolate and of course he's doing a Royal Wedding special dinner next weekend

well if we're plugging British pubs:
The Ship Inn, Milford NJ
They brew the nearest thing I've found over here to a proper British cask ale. It's pretty good.

Passed through your town a few times, over the years.
Back in Iowa, now, but off to DC on Wednesday for 4 days.

I was driving back from Western PA a couple of weeks back and needed to stop somewhere to grab some lunch and get out of the rain. Parked totally randomly in Carlisle, PA and ended at here. http://www.marketcrosspub.com/
Never got a chance to check out the beer selection, but the food was pretty bloody good for a lunch. I had a steak and ale pie, BTW, not on the menu, but it was a special for that day and I really enjoyed it.

We go to The Pub at Rookwood, Cincinnati http://thepubs.weebly.com/pub-rookwood.html
Good food, large selection of beers and a massive LFC painting on one wall .....

Yes, we now have a "The Pub" here in Tampa - been once, it was OK - bit manufactured but nowhere near as bad as some I've seen over here; was not too unlike the way the bigger UK pub chains are becoming now. Decent beer selection, food wasn't too bad either!
