I have to work. However I'm retiring in exactly six weeks time. My wife retired January 1, she used to work for the State, so had Presidents Day off. I'll be giving her a hard time about the day off with pay that she's missing out on..

being retired and old these days is scary. Gone are the days when you could relax, vacation, fade into the sunset etc. According to the AARP, you now have to start your own business, bungee jump, have great sex, and that sh!t...

We have a pretty crappy holiday deal so I assumed we didn't get it, so - a pleasant surprise!
