Photo from twitter of the diverted A380 today. Phoenix doesn't have an A380 capable gate. It's back in the air now on it's way to DFW.

A couple of things United did to honor the jump seat pilot that was on the Atlas Air flight that crashed back in February, shortly before that crash he had received a start date with United.

A nice summary/ update on MH370. There isn't much new to report, but this is a pretty nice, and not too long video published a couple of weeks ago.
One key thing I got out of the video, that I had not previously appreciated, is that the oft-shown curved line in the search ares in the southern India Ocean, is not of the probability of the flight path, but the end of a fan-shaped area of paths that the aircraft likely took.
