Oopsie.

I always wanted to work for air field op's, always looked interesting, Vancouver has a couple different kinds ones that do airfield operational stuff, and others who just stick to wildlife control.

There is nothing good about the CRJ family in my view. I hate them all both from a passenger and ramp perspective.

They are not pleasent to load either, we almost had more bags than could physically fit into the stupid things, and good luck getting snow boards and skis into them during the winter months, when you have like 100 bags, and 25 skis and snow boards.

I can't even stand up in a CRJ cabin. I actively avoid flying on them. Delta used to use a CRJ 900 in December to Minneapolis, on the west bound trip it had to make fueling stops in nowhere North Dakota a couple times, couldn't quite always make it non-stop to Vancouver.

Very cramped, and of course serve their purpose, but I would not want to fly any more than the 75 minutes I did today.

United operate their Denver service from here with a CRJ200. That’s a 3 hour flight. I’ve flown in those a couple of times. Couldn’t stand upright in the loo. I don’t remember the 900 being too bad the times I’ve taken it to PHX. Obviously it’s not a scarebus, but for a regional I remember it being ok. Before the 200, United used an Embraer 135 to Den. I never flew it, but a couple of people from work did. Apparently, the front of the cabin was like the Arctic, and the rear was like an oven LOL.

The remaining BA 747’s leave LHR tomorrow for the last time. BA are streaming the event on their Facebook page if anyone is interested. 0747L. They were pretty ratty inside to be honest, but it’s a real shame to see these out into retirement. Definitely an iconic aircraft right up there with Concorde when it comes to commercial aircraft.

DEF in Jet Airplanes
Ground crew added DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) to the aviation fuel, resulting in engine failure at 35,000ft.

And, it's not the first time.

There's a campaign to stop the use of DEF being compulsory for on-airport trucks to try and stop this happening again.

Last Delta 777 flight will operate October 31, 2020.

Delta Flight 8807 JFK — LAX, Dept 1pm Eastern and arriving at 4pm Pacific.

Looks like Air Canada to raise some funds has sold 9 737-MAX aircraft, the aircraft will stay in the fleet and Air Canada will pay long term leases, but will receive 365 million for the 9 aircraft short term, long term the airline will pay 345 million in leases over the life of the lease.

Surprised it wasn't caught before departure.

All the airlines I worked with if the passenger cabin was out of balance the final weight and balance info would not finalize and without that the plane wont even leave the gate, certainly didn't rely on email to be notified about it.
