PJs!
Will I ever get used to the fact that people here (Houston) find it OK to go out in their pyjamas??? WTF is that all about?
I have been here four years now so have seen it on multiple occasions but as I was in line at Jamba Juice last night behind a mother and daugther, both in nightwear, I thought I'd post on here and see if this happens everywhere???! PJ stories please...........

Re: PJs!
I'm in Houston too and it still surprises me when I see it. Makes you wonder if they are just lazy or making some kind of weird fashion statement

Re: PJs!
I believe that started last year when some idiot wrote a piece that she takes an odd day and calls it Pajama Day. On Pajama Day she and her daughter do not get dressed but do everything in their PJs and that includes going out and about town. Looks like it caught on it Houston.

Just looked up some links for you on Yahoo.

Re: PJs!
Must admit my DD has made the odd trip to Walmart in pj pants. I could never do it myself.

Re: PJs!
I've seen it in OH, KY (ok, there was only 26 miles between the two)... but also in TN.
I saw a woman in walmart the other day, Sunday afternoon.... FULL PJ's, including slippers, with a bag of chicken strips in her hand.
I have told DH, that there are two things I cannot, and will not do - one is flip flops, and the other is going out in my friggin pj's!

Re: PJs!
Overheard in CA DMV office "ma'm you will not be able to take your driving test unless you have shoes on your feet that are not slippers" (mind you she was in her pjs and furry slippers)
