Twitter is handy, as is G+
People using the same software to post the exact same thing on all social media sites though, little annoying, be nice if the specific tags could be removed. Be nice if the other platforms could get on with integrating G+ too... Be nice if Tweetdeck would quit sucking giant elephant balls. I'm using DestroyTwitter, now which has a much smaller footprint, but it's also seriously lacking in some features. |

Re: Pet Peeves?
Insurance companies that weasel out of their obligations - or try to - arse slurry of the worst kind.
People reversing out of their parking space as if they were the only car on the planet... And then get arsey when they find how close they came to causing an accident... The fact they have a BMW and a shitty beard just make it worse. Knob heads. People wandering around Target and other stores, with shopping trolley (NOT cart!) in front, and mobile phone in 1 hand, thumb of other hand up arse... Wandering aimlessly... And bumping in to things/me - self absorbed arse holes... I would mind less if they weren't talking trivial shite, but they are... Often loudly... P Spam phone calls - you answer and get a recorded "please wait while we connect you to an operator" - we signed up for this "leave me alone service" - clearly that's working well - NOT!!! Christmas cards in boxes - WITH ONLY 1 design - because the people I send cards to don't know each other at all and live in different countries... With no chance of ever visiting each other's homes, cubes, offices etc... |
Re: Pet Peeves?
Stores with the entrance and exit are miles apart so you're walking miles with a bunch of kids, or your heading out with a trolley filled of crap, but the kids at least taped down.
Lowes, I'm looking at you....and WTF is it with having a returns section that makes you then leave the store to go back inside to find whatever it is you wanted to exchange something with...because they couldn't be arsed to get it. Home Depot do the same....wankingknobflaps. |
Re: Pet Peeves?
Bob - totally agree... Arse juice of the worst kind, the lot of them.
Now, about this game of taping down kids - will it be in the stores in time for Xmas? ;) |
Re: Pet Peeves?
People who think that their "smart meters" are making them sick ...
While I am no great fan of PG&E the specific claim that the new smart meters are making people sick is making me sick right now - sick of the political correctness that apparently means that nobody is willing to come out and say that these people are ignorant, neurotic and/or delusional ... |

Dear God, there really some utter numpties running around, aren't there? Almost as bad as the stupid ****s who think vaccinations make your children mental.

That's one good thing about immigrants, you can be 100% sure we don't have it, they don't let you in if you do ...

I'm not worried about immigrants bringing it in! (at least not the legal ones). I'm more worried about the idiots who refuse to have the vaccinations or let their children have it - like you said. I worked with a woman who wouldn't let her child have the DPT (diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus) vaccinations as she didn't want him to become autistic!
Refusing to vaccinate children against diseases because of some half-baked claptrap peddled by weirdos is child abuse, IMHO. |

We didn't get a say back in the day, or rather didn't think about possible side effects. I still remember the sugar cubes with the polio vaccine in school. This reminds me, I need to get a tetanus shot-working with some of the roses I have can be an issue and believe it or not, have heard some stories on my rose forum!
