Here is the latest on the mouse trap situation. Just noticed that the two 'humane' traps we have have been chewed through at the bottom of the little door. This is how they have gotten out. So, apart from everything else humane traps are shite. Never buy them.

I once met an old guy, a farmer camping in the New Forest some years ago. He told me that he often saw the following. A pair of rats would climb up to the roof of his barn and steal an egg from a birds nest. Rat one would then clutch the egg to it's chest in it's ickle paws while rat 2 would take rat one's tale in it's mouth and, dangling rat 1 below it, would crawl down the side of the barn and drag said rat off to their nest to eat it. So, in a nutshell (or eggshell) I believe your bizarre tale. I suspect many wouldn't but I do.
For everyone else who has posted - I agree. I have been far too soft with the little bastards. It's time to open up a can of whup ass. I will have to work with the snap traps we have. They didn't work as somone has said. They would lick the peanut butter off and the trap would not spring. i now know better!!! http://us.ent3.yimg.com/movies.yahoo...e/01270301.jpg |
