well, we got to see the runs, suppose an interview with Lizzie was asking a bit much though....

Why was the third Russian "goal" in the third period disallowed?

Apparently because the goal had moved off the line.

I haven't seen it though.

Because the goal was dislodged before the puck crossed the line, or more correctly because the goal was dislodged. I have seen it happen before.

Holy shit! Watching NBC coverage and they actually showed quite a bit of Elise Christie, the skater who got dq'd from the final of the 500m speed skating. She's been dq'd again from the 1500m heats for skating inside the track!!!!!

2 medals and we are about half way, so still on track for the 3 (to 7) in the GB Olympic plan. A bit of pressure on the curlers for that third.

Well, that super g coverage I just watched just about sums up the shit coverage over here! First, the coverage was split with a lovey dovey interview with Body Miller and his new wife (of course making sure to mention his brother who died earlier). Then they had his wife miked up to provide little soundbites as each skier crossed the line just outside millers time. At the end of the event, with miller in bronze, the interviewer then fires a load of questions at the poor guy about his brother till he breaks down! Absolutely disgusting!!!! If there are any NBC execs reading this, try watching the BBC coverage to see how it should be done!!!!!

Getting him to that point of tears was shocking, I even understand that an interviwer probably thinks its a success to get such emotion, but a more skilled interviwer would not have needed to just more or less repeat the same question wearing him down, and leave the impression of seeing a weakness and pouncing.

Team GB guaranteed another medal in men's curling by coming through their semi-final and going on to face Canada in the gold medal match.

Trying to watch the ladies' short program skating, and my phone app keeps freezing. ARGH!
