Probably unrelated to the Olympics, she had her photo posted on the front page of a National Paper in Canada last spring, and it ruffled some feathers because people felt it was not appropriate for a then 17 year old to be shown that way on the front page.......

So I heard that the mayor of Sochi said that there are no gays in Sochi. .... At least not until the Russian Police Choir rolled into town!
