No Stimulus payment for you!
So after 4 hours on hold with the IRS yesterday I finally found out why we have received no stimulus check.
We file by mail due to some complicated UK tax issues that preclude filing online.
Last tax return on file 2017 !
2018 was returned to accountant because he tried to file electronically and it bounced back. He neglected to tell us this.
We had to refile the 2018 return by mail. Mind you they accepted the $2600 check we sent them March 2019 for the 2018 return.
They also accepted the $3000 check we sent them this past March for the 2019 return.
So since they are not processing paper returns yet due to covid and we don't have a return on file from 2017, No check for you !
Looking for a new accountant.

You will actually get the check though, even if it isn't until you file your 2020 taxes and get the rebate.
