Obama care had little to do with Obama and was certainly not what he wanted. In my opinion Obama wanted to bring together all parties and set down and try to come up with a healthcare system that was in the best interest of the country. What transpired was a bunch of lobbyists and paid off polliticians doing everything they could to make sure that didn’t happen. Insurance companies and their overpaid executives run healthcare in this country and will do anything to maintain the status quo. The population is so stupid all they have to do is mention healthcare reform in the same sentence as socialist takeover of the government and all intelligent discussion of reform stops.
