What I don't get is that they are saying it was a man going there for a citizenship test? Was it some kind of prep test for the real thing? I thought only USCIS could administer the N-400 test?

Regardless, I hope no one has been killed and they can get the man out w/out injuring/killing any hostages.

A lot of people are more cowed at taking on the government than taking on non-governmental bodies. For example, people are protesting the financial crisis by having protests in from of CEO's homes and smashing bank windows yet I don't see them doing the same thing to members of Congress - probably because the punishment could be more severe.

Anyone shooting up any facility is a bastard who couldn't work things out rationally.

Either the USCIS sent in examiners (doubtful) or it is a prep test for immigrants.

We hear a lot about Guy Fawkes and thwarted IRA attacks on the UK Parliament - but the only attack I'm aware of in recent history is the anthrax attack, which only succeeded in killing postal workers and mailroom clerks.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not advocating attacking *anyone*.
