We decided to move a trip to see friends in MA from early Friday afternoon to very early Friday morning...in an attempt to beat the storm. Hope we succeed!

It's not Miata weather. Thinking I should make some sort of vehicle with the snow blower.
Good for toned buttocks as well, apparently.

Yes we have a load of beer and wine in too, plus homemade wine down cellar if needed.
We are 350 miles NW of Boston, and we have 8-14 inches forecast Friday through Saturday. So not as bad as Boston, but still a lot of snow. At least it's mild though, high of around 20 next few days...

Currently talking about a few inches overnight, then it really gets going and we end up with 17 to 24 inches by Saturday, with "thunder snowstorms" (they're always fun!), and 40 to 50 mph winds. Thank goodness there are no leaves on the trees and we're stocked on firewood, crisps, wine, and water (don't worry, that's for the dogs)!

We could get anything from a few inches to a couple of feet...but it seems the Boston area will get the brunt of it.
Just watching the local news...telling workers in NYC to leave work early afternoon. They are putting on extra public transport from midday. Trying to get people off the roads before rush hour. Tomorrow's flights at the 3 NY Metro area airports have already been cancelled. The heaviest snow is expected tomorrow night into Saturday.

Hope that what you've done carries over for me, too!

It's all getting very silly around here.
We do have a VPN all set for bbc iplayer to catch the 6 Nations, considering everything else we had planned for the weekend has been cancelled.
That's if we survive taking the missus to work and back :/
