Based on last season, the coverage from NBC is excellent. It is like SKY where the "big" teams are featured on TV, but I watch on my iPad via the app, so I can manage to watch every Villa game on there. I prefer the app, as you can chose which game you watch.
I don't care for any of the "Sky6" so would rather watch QPR vs Leicester on the app, opposed to man city vs arsenal on the TV channel.

Maybe this will be the season for Villa.

Don't you mean Southampton 2014 v Southampton 2013?

Indeed!

Glad we got Lovren but Lallana was way overpriced, I wouldn't have paid half of what we did for him given he's only had one good EPL season. Who knows if he will even get in the team.

He's English - there's your reason. To be honest there hasn't been much value in the market over this transfer window, no matter how good he is I was incensed that we paid 27 Million for Shaw at 18.

I think now you have to look at the overall value players bring to a club. 27 million over say 10 years isn't much. Then factor in revenue he can generate over those years and it probably works out that the club will make more money than the 27 million. Based on current ability its overpriced. Based on long term value it's probably a bargain.

It's over inflated based on the fact that he is English - which seems to attract a premium for some reason.

You went for Dish over Directv? Does Dish now carry the Extra Time channels then? It didn't last season. Actually just checked and it seems to not have them again this season. You appear to be able to watch the Extra Time games online - better than nothing I spose but personally I prefer to have them available on TV.

(Extra Time is a bunch of extra channels that allow you to choose any game when there are more than one being played at the same time).

As a Saints fan this was pure bliss last season. Is there a BEP fantasy league at all? Just sorted my (obviously) amazing team out. Roll on the new season.

I don't mind watching them online, to be honest I will be monopolizing the TV so much that the wife might actually kill me if I try to watch anymore on our main set.

At least I can watch on the sofa with a headset and not worry about it
