Well that worked out well.
It was delivered about 5:15pm a little after my stepson, daughter-in-law and two grandsons arrived for dinner. The delivery guys set it up and turned it on to a chorus of wows, and stepson help with getting the settings right so we got a picture we liked. We then watched a movie on it, by which time Mrs L was sold.
Oh yes Thomas the Tank Engine looks great on it.

We have a 55" Vizio smart TV. It is 3 yes old and has started to do all manner of weird things. It will shut itself off just randomly.It will freeze up and has to be shut down to restart. Recently the color has become patchy, everyone has yellow blotches
Vizio do not have very good customer service and basically told us we are lucky to have gone 3 years without any problems. We did not take the extended warranty because it covers less.
So now we are just watching until it becomes so bad that we will have to replace it. We will probably still go with a smart TV but not Vizio.
