moving at end of 2018 - ACA eligible?
hi! does anyone have guidance on what to do for healthcare - should we apply before we move (not knowing what our income will be once we get jobs in the US after the move)? basically am in the dark on it. any guidance is appreciated!

Depending on where you are planning on moving in the US, you and whatever family you are bringing with you (assume a family since you use the term "we"), will qualify for Medicaid since you have no income. At least in New York State, as shown by another poster, your income is not counted until you have filed a tax return and are fully eligible for Medicaid. Now whether that is applicable if you are not a legal permanent resident, I don't know.

You have to be resident in your State before you can apply.
