I have posted about it before on the UK foods thread, I think. It's tiny and doesn't look like anything special from the outside, but it's a treasure trove on the inside! I think they ship too.

They posted a video of hot bubbling macaroni pies on facebook, now I want one wah wah wah ! and there was a picture of currant slices, I don't even like currant slices but I may have to make a trayfull.

Thank goodness I missed that! Pies are not on my diet plan and it would probably break me. Their pies, pasties and sausage rolls are excellent, as are their scones. I wasn't keen on their sausages (mostly because they were beef rather than pork). They also have various seasonal things - advent calendars at Christmas, Easter Eggs and hot cross buns at easter. I really do love that place.

I believe the default setting for a Pie hole is "open".

Hence the need to occasionally tell people to shut theirs.

Did you see that I got an order from The English Pork Pie Co a couple of weeks back. I split an order with 2 friends so we could share shipping costs. Scotch Eggs, Pork Pies, Bacon, Sausages, Sausage Rolls and other baked goodies - it was all really really good.

We just received our order yesterday from English Pork Pie...ordered many times before. We too share the cost of delivery with others, but will try Ackryod's next time!
