Re: Memorial Day weekend?
Exactly -- and for Manchester, MA, you can add green-head flies.

THAT reminds me of The Fly. I can still see David Hedison's head on the fly's body as he yelling for help with the spider bearing down on him.

Fit new bikini top on Jeep, spend rest of time in or around the pool with ice cold beer

Chain-saw until out of gas
Cool off on deck with ice-cold beer
<repeat until dusk when bugs get too bad>
Go indoors and watch new Sense & Sensibility dvd
<sigh. life is a bowl of cherries..>

Ain't no deer flies or Mosquitos in Scottsdale, AZ! Went out for dinner last night, sat outside in the 82 degree air (12% humidity) ... wonderful. Plan to stay out of the sun until about 6pm again today, then go out and enjoy the wonderful evening.

Re: Memorial Day weekend?
You could always nip down here and have beer and dip in the pool

Just got back from the Cummington Fair....it was mental...very cool....the missus has enough roving fleece to last a year or so and most of it was pretty cheap. The little one loved it, and there were baby pot bellied pigs which were so cute.
Stopped off at Webs, in Northampton, massive and we're talking ungodly huge yarn store who had a massive sale going and the missus got more stuff there, a little over whelming that place.
And to top it off, ultra cheesy lupper at Cracker Barrel in Holyoake but we were out of petrol and it was next door to the station and the little one was getting mental at that point.
Drive home was fun though, weather held till we got to the pike and then I-90 just flooded over in the rain it was mental...quickly getting humid again though now.
