I think if she'd been able to drive off in the truck the odds of her getting shot would have escalated rapidly. It sounds like the firemen were motivated to save their ride and hauled her out of there pretty quick.

Back around 1999/2000 I was working baggage service (aka lost luggage) and a passenger's bag didn't make their flight out of Phoenix, so the genius decided to say their was a bomb in it, no idea what his thinking was, but he got to spend the night in jail, and the Phoenix police blew his bag up, so instead of getting his bag a few hours late, he never got it at all, although he was not charged, but hopefully the one night in jail gave him time to think over his stupidity.

One thing about working at airports is you see a high volume of humans, and really realize the average person is not very nice.

This talented individual was driving erratically, passing on the grass median, and when pulled over decided to impress the cops by twerking for them. He was tased and thrown in jail. "Deputies booked Wolfe into the county jail under charges of resisting an officer without violence, fleeing from law enforcement after being ordered to stop and reckless driving. Wolfe’s bond was set at $3,500."

😃 At least they knew she wasn't carrying any weapons. There's something about the place. A friend went to Florida once with 2 girls, and left them in St Pete's while he went down to Daytona for Bike Week. They found a bar on the beach that sold 3 Zombies for $7 at Happy Hour and decided they needed to look no further. He came back about 5 days later and they were cutting up lines of coke on top of a rock using a seashell.

I don't know if this was what I heard on the radio but I did hear the underlined part which seems very strange to me. The attachment of 'without violence' is like suggesting mitigating circumstances or even so trivial it's not worth bothering with.

Presumably there is an offence of resiting an officer with violence so why not resisting or resisting with violence?

I mean, we have assault with a deadly weapon but do we have assault without a deadly weapon?

There's robbery with violence, is there robbery without violence or just robbery?

In the UK there's going equipped for theft/burglary which is "being outside of your home and having an item on you that you intend to use for theft or burglary - such as a very wide range of normal tools such as a crowbar, screwdrivers or bolt cutters, to lock picks or “slim jims”...and the police have to prove that you have that item intending to use it in the future for some kind of theft, burglary..."

If you don't have these things but maybe you're dressed in a stripey top, wearing a lone ranger mask and carrying a sack marked SWAG you might still be facing a burglary charge but it won't include "unequipped for burglary"

Yeah, that'll be the day. I'm not nearly brave enough. They come from the lake across the road into my sister's trailer court in St Pete's sometimes but my instinct would probably be to kill it. I know they generally mean no harm and that they're protected but it isn't something I'm used to. The thing is half bite and half smash and his signature move is called the death roll, so nope.

Brittiny Lopez-Murray, a 31-year-old drama teacher has been arrested on several felony counts including lewd and lascivious battery, molestation and engaging in a sexual act with a child. Apparently been having sex with a 14 year old boy since August, the boy's sister appears to have seen texts and the father of the boy then found nudes of the teacher, she was reported to police and arrested on Monday, the school district is in the process of terminating her employment.

On Friday 36-year-old Daniel Fernandez a teacher in the same school districted was arrested and charged with second degree lewd and lascivious behavior after kissing and touching a 14 year old female student, the student told her father who reported the teacher to police.

Just ask any televangelist. Some of the worst are at least as blatant as fake Tito, and living well. Sarah Huckabee Sanders grew up in that environment when her dad worked for James Robison, which is where I assume she developed her talent for duplicity.
