Man forecloses on Bank of America!

...So, how did it end with bank being foreclosed on? After more than 5 months of the judge's ruling, the bank still hadn't paid the legal fees, and the homeowner's attorney did exactly what the bank tried to do to the homeowners. He seized the bank's assets.
"They've ignored our calls, ignored our letters, legally this is the next step to get my clients compensated, " attorney Todd Allen told CBS.
Sheriff's deputies, movers, and the Nyergers' attorney went to the bank and foreclosed on it. The attorney gave instructions to to remove desks, computers, copiers, filing cabinets and any cash in the teller's drawers....
For the LOL

Sweet justice for the homeowners!
It boggles my mind that BoA (bunch of a$$holes) could f&ck up that monumentally to try to foreclose on someone that has never had a mortgage!!

I don't know how they were even able to try to foreclose - I mean they didn't have a lien on the property or any other right to it ...

Wasn't this recession partially caused/fuelled by ****wit banks illegaly foreclosing on people? I think there are a million law suits in process right now from people whose lives were literally ruined by over-zealous bankers.

Bankers, I remember in old black & white cowboy movies, they were always stealing some poor families farm. Guess nothing has changed. Crooks then, crooks now.
What a bunch of BANKERS.

Re: Man forecloses on Bank of America!
OK - but how did they get a court order in the first place without (apparently) any evidence that they had any interest in the property?
Did some attorney just sign an (apparently false) affidavit and the court issued an order on the strength of it?
What concerns me is that it sounds as if there must have been several failures of the legal system here - even if BofA tried to foreclose on the property the system should have caught the fact that they didn't have any right to do so and if it didn't then the system is terribly broken ...
... yeah, right, I know - why am I not surprised ...
