I have had to wash about four handbags in the washing machine and luckily they are now mould free. However the leather bits on them are knacked but they are still usable.

I don't understand about the water wastage either? 
Over here, all rain water just goes into the drains and is dispersed into the ground. Why the heck don't they put it back into the reserviors (sp?)

One thing i really hate is if it is a humid day and i forget to shut my bedroom window during the day when i go out. Several times late at night I have had to strip ALL my bed linen because it is literally too damp to sleep on!!
