Links have changed?
I got my confirmation that the London Embassy had received my petition, and that I can start on the medical and getting the documents for the interview.
However, the link they gave me on the letter doesn't work, they said the page doesn't exist anymore/has moved and there's no follow on link to the new location And while I was looking through the wiki pages on this site, I'm noticing that some of the links in there lead to pages that have gone Is there an updated page somewhere with all the information and links to the forms? I can't seem to find it while searching the london.usembassy.gov site... |
Re: Links have changed?
I'll add this to the pinned threads temporarily. We need a wiki-savvy person with some time to update the links.
If I ever get my hands on the Consulate's webmaster... grrrr  Applying for the Visa The approved petition is forwarded to the Immigrant Visa Unit at this Embassy through the National Visa Center in New Hampshire. On receipt of the approved petition the Immigrant Visa Unit will begin processing the visa application. http://london.usembassy.gov/kprocessing.html http://london.usembassy.gov/iv_15.html It is important that you do take action immediately and return the Application for Immigration and Alien Registration, Form DS-230-1, Part 1, Form DS-156 (in duplicate), Form DS-156K, (in duplicate), Form DS-157 (in duplicate) and Notification of Applicant Readiness, Form DS-2001. Note: The failure to return the forms promptly will delay the processing of your application. Before returning Form IV-15K, to the Immigrant Visa Unit, you are required to assemble all of the documents required in support of your application. Note: These documents must not be mailed to the Embassy; you will be required to furnish the original of all documents and one copy on the day of the formal visa interview. All your civil documents and evidence will go with you to the interview. :) Further links in the right hand margins; check them all out. |
Re: Links have changed?
I'd take the advice in the second link for the IV-15, ignore the KProcessing link it will only confuse you. I spent some time trying to figure out how to send everything back real quick whilst at the same time waiting for supporting documents, until I read the IV-15 which says send us back the forms, then get the documents, make the medical appointment and send us a cover letter telling us when it is together with your DS-2001.
