Re: Let's talk about cars
Getting a few things on my '07 Pontiac G6 fixed.
Belle Tire quoted me a bunch of money for parts & labor.
I can get the same parts half of their price and my local mechanic can stick 'em on.
Question - is anyone familiar with the OREDY brand of quick struts or Detroit Axle or Prime Choice?
Wasn't sure whether I should just go with Monroe or not?
Monroe Quick Struts are $130 each from Amazon and the others are $130 for the pair.
Thanks for any insight.

I would go for the Monroe I have known people use them, I have no experience with the other brands but a couple of years ago did research shocks when we were fitting a true two inch lift and found that with the cheaper brands the ride deteriorated quite quickly.

Re: Let's talk about cars
What?!?! He’s not even in the top 5! How many titles did he legitimately win without either driving into someone to delibretly take them out or have his sniveling team mate pull over to let him win. Show me a race where he started near the back and went on a charge through the field. The way Hamilton is driving now puts him ahead of Schumacher, although no one will ever beat Senna!
Plus, if you're going to talk about crashes, as much as he is my favorite driver even now, would he have won in 1990 if he hadn't taken out Prost (and Prost himself wasn't exactly clean either)? It is racing, after all. If you were to eliminate all the drivers who have been a bit dirty, you wouldn't be left with many.

I personally can't see the semi-truck taking off. 30 cents a mile difference between that and a diesel truck they're estimating. Not to mention the purchase price of the Tesla will be immense.
Roadster looks very nice though. For $200,000 for the base model it ought to be nice!
