Well, I'm not in the UK, this one was given to me and it is just another thing ticked off my bucketlist.

Anyway M has fitted a new headliner in it. The sunroof was a bit difficult to deal with but he finally fixed it. A friend is doing some exterior work on the driver door and some paint work, and then with a bit of tidying up it will be on the road.

Total spent so far: $450.00.

There is no point comparing UK and US second hand car market.

So after having some fun with the F150 for a while, I decided to get something more familiar to me and also something my wife can drive.

I was lucky enough to own a MK4 Golf R32 and MK6 R before in the U.K. so a MK7 GTI seemed like a good progression!

Flew out to San Francisco to pick it up and drove it back 1200 miles to Colorado. We got a great deal, 1 owner, 13k miles. Even after I factored in the flight to SF and a hotel for a night in Utah.

Hopefully the photos I've attached will show!

Sadly it's a DSG, I'd have loved to have got it in a manual but this has pretty much every option on it so it was hard to pass down just because it wasn't a manual. It's booked in for a stage 1 remap and a DSG remap. Made my MK6 R feel like a different car so looking forward to getting it done this Saturday!

I feel like the F150 was more accurate to that! I do actually miss it, it was great fun, just a pain in the ass in small parking lots in Denver and our driveway is pretty tight too!

Sadly yes!

Took it to CarMax, got a pretty sweet deal actually and then used the money towards the Golf.

Wife happy, me slightly sad.

Is the F350 / 450 four door dual rear wheel truck common in Denver ? if the F150 was tricky to park the dually would be impossible, I drive one daily here in Virginia with no parking issues.

A pickup is soo much more usefull, especially in America.

I drove a 2017 F150 cc last friday ; drove 900+ miles in total .

What are you, some sort of commie? This is America, if the pickup you have doesn't have enough space, just get a bigger one.
