Not as good as the original version by Johnny Nash in the early '70's, and that goes for TGT..it should have kept the same or similar concept as TG

Not impressed so far either. Amazon have spent too much money on this trying to make everything too slick. The original always had the feel of a bunch of lads pissing about and you don't get that. Also they've gone for.what Americans think British humour is, and that never works.

Some nice cars though, but the cars were always secondary. Oh and Stig needs to STFU and get back to listening to prog rock.

I fear that Wilman & Co have gone for what Brits think Americans think British humour is.

There's not much chance of that, that's what communists do.

I ended up buying myself a amazon fire TV stick yesterday. I put on the grand tour, but ended up alienating the wife sat next to me.

So it's something to look forward to when she's out at her next night shift.

I like them both but yes the original by Nash was on another level.

That was much better, it could have been Top Gear. .... I just wish they'd stop flogging the dead horse celebrity gag.

Yes, I thought that was a good episode - up to Top Gear standards. I thought the first two episodes were blah.

He's giving James a back walk massage.

They need to keep in peak condition somehow.

A million cheesy dead celebrity gags is better than one minute of the ginger twat ...

Much as I'd watch a show about the tree of them discussing the various qualities of drying paint, I do want to see more 'here's fifty quid, go buy the shittiest cars you can find and drive across the length of Russia' type challenges though.

I think they have more work to do. Not that I can talk, of course, but at least I keep myself covered up, so everyone can keep their lunch in ...

Yeah it was better than the previous episodes. Seeing Whitby did make me feel homesick though.

Maybe you can settle the debate then - is it bits or scraps?
