Saw one of these (the pic is a '38, but the one I saw could have been +/- a year or two)this morning on the way in to work - but a bit more "custom" - cleaned up, with fewer of the fussy bits, it had a nice rumbly sound too.

That nice rumbly sound in a '38 Ford p/u? Either a large, powerful modern V-8...or a dodgy, if well-tuned, exhaust system.

What I learned from a local owner of a '33 Ford rat-rod who I was talking to, is that it is most likely to have a 357 Chevy in it.
