I agree. A car producing over 400lb/ft of torque that accelerates from standstill to 60 in 2.8 seconds definitely doesn't deserve to be in a car thread! Let's get back to talking about shite trucks and civics

Trucks are infinitely more appealing (to me) than cars; they have tremendous utility value. During winter you can also attack a snowplow, because shoveling snow or using a snowblower is a royal PITA.

Frogeye sprite would look good with a redesigned grill and hidden headlights.

You could attack a snowplow if you wanted to, but it would probably not end well.

Are you familiar with the MkII Sprite and later versions? It was given a more conventional, and utterly unforgettable, front end. The frogeye was a design classic.

The "bugeye" was originally designed to have hidden headlights, but the feature was eliminated in production due to cost. I find it amusing that hidden headlights are no longer a feature on new cars -- but then the lights are no longer of standard shape and are much smaller physically.

Speaking of, last winter, I saw a plough attached to one of those new Mini Countryman thingys...looked well silly.

Can't imagine how handy it would have been clearing the snow...

There is one around here fitted to a Wrangler. Talk about front-heavy.

I'm lucky in that I never have to deal with snow. And as I posted a page or 2 back, the Ford Raptor I drove the other day would bypass my truck hatred gene. I'd buy one tomorrow if I could.

I generally don't like inanimate objects that resemble faces. Yes the Mk II was forgettable design wise ; looked like an MG MGB or Midget, but imho it looks better than the frogeye even if the later is distinct and noticeable.

Don't like the new Morgan Aero either, thing looks cross-eyed.
