Re: Let's talk about cars
Did you see the pre-season "talk show" they did back in January? (It's on YouTube).
Someone asked each of them which car they most regretted selling. James May said an Alfa 164. ..... So I think I'm a bit of all three of them ..... with Richard Hammond's love of Mustangs.

Re: Let's talk about cars
My second car I ran into the ground, a 1.6 Sierra with 101,000 on the clock that I gave up on when I was told it needed a new radiator, suspension, steering mechanism, and at least a couple of other major things. I swapped it, with £2,600, for my third car, an Alfa 164, the only car I sold as a vehicle that had a prospect of long future use. I regretted selling it at the time, and have done ever since. I learned a couple of years ago that it was scrapped a year after I sold it.

Wonderful! That article says everything that needs to be said.
I introduced one of my managers to it after be told me he and his son were watching Top Gear, "a funny car show with three guys on it". After a few minutes talking I realised he was watching it on the History Channel. I redirected him to BBC America and learned a few weeks later that he and his son found the "original" to be much funnier were binge-watching Top Gear on Netflix.

If it's Ant and Dec, I will probably write a very strongly worded letter to The Times!
