I'm not that short

I could cut your legs off for you, if that would help.

Kind of, but on balance I suspect the drawbacks would outweigh the benefits.

Yeah. It was ambitious, but rubbish.

Yeah. Ok. Except that, for example, a Mustang 302 Boss is far faster around any circuit you would care to mention (really, it's not even close), obviously much faster in a straight line, can actually be driven every day as a commuter, far cheaper and far more durable than the Exige.

But hey, you must be right. Mustangs of today = Mustangs from the 60s. Top Gear told me so. Also, the 2015 Mustang doesn't exist.

As a kid I lived "down the street" [e.g. bicycling distance] from the "Chevy Plant." The site is now a shopping center with a Home Depot and a fire station. A few miles the other way was the Lockheed Aircraft plant. The air terminal is now Bob Hope Airport. The plant is now office buildings and shopping center.

Australia is going the same way. Ford has already left, GM is going. I think they also lost a Toyota plant.

Chap that was helping to load the cars looked like he was going to puke

It is, it was a Ford works car, driven by Jim Clark, and a couple of others. It was sold in 2007 for £136,800.

The list of cars is getting longer that I have to be able to fit into my mythical future expanding garage.

I am still struggling to identify the mythical future expanding bank account. After I have that sorted, I'll start worrying about the garage.
