WooHoo for you!! My inlaws go on cruises every chance they get, we are hoping to go on our first next year. They love it, MIL says it is lovely to be treated like a queen and get looked after for the whole trip!
Have a fantastic time, take lots of pics and tell us ALL about it when you get back

I've cruised the Caribbean with RC...it was fabulous Melly. RC's ships are the best IMO...we will be on one of their ships in a weeks time. We took tours around every island...if you do this don't book through RC there are plenty of tours at or near the cruise terminal looking to fill extra seats.

Make sure you book a table at Portofinos Restaurant...it's $20 each plus 15% tip but it's well worth it.

Just one thing...I can't remember which island it was (St Kitts??)...the island has a brand new shopping centre built at the cruise terminal. If you go there be careful...several of the shops selling designer goods ie Tiffany, Gucci etc are selling fakes but not at fake prices.

Hi Melly
I've been on 3 cruises (or is it 4?) all with RC, wouldn't go with anyone else. We've just booked to go again in March! Have fun, relax and enjoy!!

I've been on a few. I would say the best tip I've been given is don't sign up for shore excursions on the ship. You can do it a lot cheaper on your own.

we usually do a mixture...I try to DIY the ones I think will be easy to get to the ship from (that's always my main concern!) and the trickier ones I'm happy to pay the extra for someone to do the worrying for me!

I'd also say, don't get hung up about going to the formal dinner every night if that isn't your thing. We usually go to a couple of formal dinners and then do our own things the other evenings..especially if we have the kids with us!

Some of the excursions are so expensive!!! I really only want to do 2 i think, one of them is in cozumel where they send you off on a boat to a private island so im def gonna book that one on the ship - the other in Jamaica is a trip to Dunns falls, and im pretty sure that we will be able to get it much cheaper once we are there but everyone in our group seems a bit reluctant on trusting the locals!!! On the other 2 islans im just gonna get off and walk around, and then head back to the ship!!!!

I only realised 2 days ago that there were 2 formals and not 1, so have spent most of this week shopping!! Ive never owned so many dresses or heels!!!! We are going as a group of about 14 I think - we all have a reservation for the same table with dinner, so we will prob spend most nights in the main dining room, altho I would like to try one of the specialities one night!!

In Jamaica get one of the taxi drivers to give you a ride over there. I imagine there'll be a few of them waiting once they see the boat arrive.

If you had booked one of those naked cruises you wouldn't have to worry about all that.
