I was looking at similar stats recently and noticed we (in Florida) are on the same latitude as North Africa (Egypt), China (although China is vast) and Mt Everest.

So modest, all Trump's favourite places are on the 30th parallel: China, Afghanistan, Mexico, Mar a Largo, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Afghanistan, Libya, Israel, Iraq, Algeria, Morocco, Jordan, Kuwait, Pakistan and Japan, I wonder if he knows there's a country called Nepal?

When the location of the UK comes up in conversation, it invariably surprises Americans that the UK is well to the north of Nova Scotia.

I picked Nova Scotia as a place that is "crazy far north" from a US perspective. But I certainly wouldn't mention Halifax, NS any more than I would mention Bismark, ND or Regina, SK.
