I went to my first MLS game at the weekend. NY versus DC. It was really bad. I'm glad that they are trying, but they have a LONG way to go.

That's a shocker, I was expecting one or the other to go, not both. Cobi Jones is an interesting choice, has experience in Europe plus knows the MLS well. How he will do translating that to a managerial role will be interesting. Ruud didn't do himself too many favors by coming in with a completely new and not well suited system. The league seems to be going back a few steps recently, hopefully it will take a jump forward soon.

LOL - hilarious.
How long until beckham follows ?? Ruuuuddddd was always a strange choice in my book - he never really convinced at any point during his managerial career, and Lalas also appeared to be a bit of an impostor as the man in-charge. Hopefully the whole outfit doesn't implode, but no doubt the dutchman will have helped himself to a few quid on his way out the door. |
