Kitchen Nightmares..

Another new Gordon Ramsay series ...

I loved it
.
.and Peter the mockster asking to take a break and asking
Gordon to go and fetch him some juice.

"Go **** yourself" was one of the nicer things Ramsay could say..

I think ramsey has sold out his integrity.
What's with buying the whole new kitchen.
Sorry, for me it all looked too faked and staged.
Too much like all the rest of the American reality crap.

Such a pity, I really liked his UK series.
I suppose we have more of the same to follow. :(

Is this the new US version he's doing?

yep, it was all done for the usa market for sure. never saw them splash out on a new kitchen for the folks in the uk. loved the bit though where ramsay make fun of peter's oh so white teeth :p

the uk series was much better but i did have a laugh.

I forgot to watch it :curse:

Anyone seen the recent UK Hell's Kitchen? Did you prefer Marco Pierre White doing it rather than Gordon?

Gordon Ramsey is a total, unmitigated twat. With his blonde highlights (he's really ginge) and fake tan and that whole: "I'm a well hard nut, me. I say 'f**k a lot" he's sold out lock stock and barrel.

Talentless git. He's a great over-the-top TV personality, but give me Delia Smith or even bloody George Forman in the kitchen any day of the week.

Yes I watched some of that.
Apparently Marco Pierre White is the guy that taught Gordon Ramsay all he knows.
Not quite as tasty looking as our Gord but still there's something about him...

I'm sorry, but that just isn't true! Don't let his TV personality fool you; he is one of the best chefs in the world - there just isn't ANY debate on that. If I am right, he got most of his Michelin stars before he was a major celeb, so he must be doing something right. I'm 75% sure you are playing devils advocate here so I wont rise to the Delia comment also.

i've eaten a few times in his restaurants in the Savoy Grill and Claridge's where i found the food excellent. seen him in there a couple of times where he appeared very nonchalant.

plan to check out The Narrow next month ~

$30k for some kitchen equipment..dirt cheap ..
you could not build a TV set for that ...cheapest type of
TV program you could make..sure some of it is arranged
but great entertainment ...

I didn't enjoy it as much as the ones I've seen in the U.K., it seemed a bit "mushy" and staged. I'm sure I'll watch it again though as there's not a whole lot else on.
Naomi.
