Better be careful about leaving your bags unattended in future...some b'stard might steal your marmite despite your attempts to hide it amongst all that the sugary stuff.

Not very long I fear, but I did limit myself to one Picnic a month last time!

Wow that's some impressive haul! I'm due to go back in a month or so for a quick trip. I always pop into Costco in the UK and get one or two of their massive bags of tea-bags and they sell marmite in the most ginormous tubs I have ever seen.

Had not thought of Costco - will have to investigate for the next trip!

Yep that's the one, and the tea-pot - found it in a charity shop but the egg cup got chipped on the way home. Will need to find replacements.

Just got back myself ... this was the sum total of stuff I brought back!

I did buy some Walkers crisps while there, but they seem to have gone down hill big-time since I was last there - being taken over by FritoLay may be a factor ...

ETA - Did find these wonderful crisps (Pipers Kirkby Malham Chorizo!) at a place in Wells ... unusual flavor, beautiful texture!

Walkers crisps seem to have gone 'healthy' :(

If you like those, you might like Zapps - http://www.zapps.com/

Really quite lovely, but a bit hard to find around here but some of the best crisps we've found :)

I'd heard that marmite comes in squeezy bottles now. Whole food is still selling it in the glass jars.

When I go back to the UK I have one suitcase that fits inside a slightly larger one and then fill it with the good stuff. A fine haul you got there.

It does. I've found it cheapish in The Christmas Tree shop.
