I thought he had died years ago. Somehow he really irritated me.

Oh Nooooooooooooooo I loved him, weird character but a good man what a shame he was the kinda TV face that you would associate with being a kid growing up.

I think he started going a bit crazy as he got older.

On the plus side, I think I finally have a Halloween costume. Now then now then, little Johnny wrote to us...

Mods, I wish to report this comment as deeply abusive and upsetting.
You are a bad person, Lola of Monmouth.

I wrote to JFI asking to have a lightsaber fight with Darth Vader. Never happened.

The most memorable fix-it for me was when that kid went down the platform at a station and slammed all the doors shut on a train. I loved those old train doors too.

Loved Jimmy Saville - remember him on Top of the Pops, Jim'll Fix It and wasn't there another show - Saville's Travels?
RIP Jimmy - great entertainer - also did a lot for charity.

I liked Jim'll Fix It but I loathed that man. He made me feel like I needed a wash after watching him, sleazy and if he wasn't a pedo he gave a very good imitation of one.

I don't understand RIP so sympathies for his loved ones.

I hope he wasn't a pedo... I sat on his knee when I was 5 years old! Can't remember why I was in hospital, but he was there and we all took turns sitting on his knee...

I also remember writing to Jim'll Fix It to learn how to wrestle with a microphone like Rod Stewart... not surprisingly I didn't get through.
