I'm thinking Atlanta Falcons currently leading, gorgeous weather, going to watch the Steelers/Broncos game tonight. Welcome to autumn!

Was thinking the same, but a roast lamb, or a hot pot...

Still, seeing the Patriots do quite well, after a shockingly bad pre-season...and the Bills not do so well, kind of makes for a fun day

Went to Corvallis yesterday. Wisconsin arrived ranked number 13 and met the unranked Oregon State Beavers. In today's rankings Wisconsin are out of the top 25. Just getting my voice back. Go Beavs.

It's weird you should say that, I'm craving a roast leg of lamb with mint sauce today. Is it too late to run to the store and get one roasting?

I am making stewed plums and custard as we speak.

And not from custard mix, either.

I'm cooking the roast dinner tomorrow, it's easier when the TAS isn't under my feet asking silly questions about yorkshire pudding batter. Today we are having shepherds pie with green beans and home made apple crumble. I do miss Bramley Apples

It is perfect weather here in Texas today, took the Harley for a ride to Brazos Bend State Park and walked around Elm Lake. Spotted 2 alligators, one sun bathing on the far bank another by the footpath. Picnic lunch and then off again to the Matagorda coast where we parked the bike and walked along the beach. Brilliant day out

Now if only the weather was like this all the time...."sigh"

Ohhhhh...and the Houston Texans won! Yay!!!!!!

Nothing beats a roast alligator lunch of a Sunday, eh. Sort of like toad in the hole, but with more snap.

Boo, Boo, and Hiss.
It's too hot to put the oven on still. I want proper dinner, Shepherds pie, plums and custard (must add plums to my shopping list I have the birds powder) Apple pie made by me without half a pound of cinnamon, just granny smiths and brown sugar. Now I'm depressed and hungry and the leftovers look dire.
