The InBetweeners

Just discovered them on BBC America this week. A cracking series. Loved it. Anyone else watch it? What did you think?

Yes, we recorded them and watched last night. I'd heard lots of good things from my friends back home.

Thought it was excellent, really funny and nice writing.

I liked how BBC America blurred the 1 finger gesture over here, but not the 2:lol:

Looking forward to next weeks episode now, I think they have only made 12 so far though.

Yep the beeped a fair bit of it as well don't they and they couldn't possibly show someone's naked bum on TV ;)

Paul and I think it's great. Really refreshing. Didn't stop laughing from beginning to end.

I love how on all the programs they are always too early with the beeping so what you actually hear is 'beep uck'. Useless, why can't they just have a watershed.

Nice to see something new, we also got Sundance back a couple of weeks ago, with the new series' of Shameless. Another classic :)

Oh my God, I cannot STAND that show!

For me, the acting was so bad it spoilt any other redeeming qualities. I only made it through two episodes before I gave up.

Not seen it, but seen it doing the rounds, couple series in with a third sometime this year though...so might give it a go if it's on the box now :)

Got both series on DVD during the last England trip. It's a whole lot funnier when you get to see it unedited. The Xmas Prom episode is a particular favourite of mine.

I just saw this on BBCA and the bleeping was driving me nuts! Both series are up on The Box so I D/L them. A couple of the eps in the second series were so funny I was rolling around the floor with tears streaming. My US wife doesn't really see the humor in it but having gone through 6th form myself it just spoke to me!

Great! I'm so glad they are showing it over there. It's absolutely brilliant. They're about to start making a third series/season, so I can't wait for that. Apparently there's going to be a film as well where they go on a 'lads holiday' to a Spanish resort.

Downloaded this series a while back. Think it's on E4 in the UK.

Extremely funny. The episode where they go to a club in a London is probably my favorite.

Do you think it's been edited that much. Another friend who watched it in the UK and is now in NYC said she didn't think it had?
