I was to go to Federal court, bit it was cancelled because of inclement weather. They called me again about six months later. You are not taken off the list, you are still on it. They then leave you off for two years after you have shown up.

I remember waiting for the judge to appear at my swearing in ceremony. There was quite a large crowd and we were all seated facing the stage. On comes this dude, walks over to the flag stand, picks it up and walks off the stage with the flag trailing on the floor.
